The Founder

25+ years. Big Four experience.
One very clear point of view.

Alex Diamond is the founder of AXD Advisory Services and a senior IT executive with more than 25 years of experience leading enterprise technology transformation across Fortune 500 corporations, global financial institutions, major healthcare organizations, federal agencies, and higher education systems.

Before founding AXD, Alex held consulting leadership roles at three of the world's leading professional services firms, where he led complex service management transformations, designed enterprise operating models, and advised CIO-level stakeholders on digital workplace strategy, ITSM modernization, governance redesign, and AI-enabled service optimization.

Alex brings a practitioner's rigor and an executive's perspective to every engagement. He has designed IT operating models for organizations managing billion-dollar technology portfolios, built ITSM platforms from the ground up within accelerated timelines, led HR Service Delivery implementations integrated with enterprise HR systems, and advised organizations through complex M&A service integration scenarios. His experience spans greenfield platform builds, brownfield modernizations, and enterprise-wide governance transformations — across both domestic and global organizations.

AXD Advisory Services was founded on a simple conviction: most organizations don't need another transformation program. They need senior expertise, a clear diagnosis, and a sequenced plan they can actually execute — delivered with precision and focus.

The AXD difference

Senior-led. Focused. Fast.

The model most large firms use — partners who sell and teams who deliver are rarely the same people. AXD is built around senior continuity throughout.

01
Senior continuity throughout
Alex personally leads every engagement from discovery through final readout — one senior expert accountable for the work, start to finish.
02
Fix first, then transform
AXD's approach: diagnose what's actually broken before designing a future state. Most transformations fall short because they skip this step. AXD starts here.
03
Sequenced for execution
Every recommendation is designed to be acted on — not filed away. Roadmaps are sequenced by value, effort, and organizational readiness.
04
Business-first by default
Understand the business model first, then design IT to serve it. Every AXD engagement starts here — before touching a single process.
05
Platform-agnostic
AXD doesn't sell platforms. Recommendations are driven by fit for purpose — not partner incentives or implementation revenue.
06
Built for speed and focus
AXD moves at the pace of decision — responsive, focused, and structured to deliver without the overhead that slows large programs down.
