About AXD Advisory Services

Built for clients who
need it done right.

AXD was founded on the conviction that IT organizations are capable of far more than their current structure allows — and that the path forward always starts with the business, not the technology.

Big 3 roots.
One very clear point of view.

Alex Diamond founded AXD Advisory Services in 2026 after more than 25 years in enterprise IT, including 14 years of consulting leadership across three of the world's leading professional services firms. The work spanned Fortune 500 corporations, global financial institutions, major healthcare organizations, federal agencies, and higher education systems.

That experience shaped a simple but consequential point of view: the most capable IT organizations are the ones designed around how the business creates value, not the other way around. Alex built AXD to operationalize that principle on every engagement, from the first conversation through final delivery.

Alex brings a practitioner's depth to every engagement, having designed IT operating models for organizations managing billion-dollar technology portfolios, built enterprise service management platforms within accelerated timelines, led HR Service Delivery implementations at scale, and advised organizations through complex M&A integration scenarios. The experience spans greenfield builds, brownfield modernizations, and enterprise-wide governance transformations across domestic and global organizations.

What Alex brings to AXD is the caliber of thinking applied, the business-first lens carried into every recommendation, and the commitment to delivering work that holds up under scrutiny from the CIO, the CFO, and the board.

The AXD difference

Adaptive. Business-First. Outcome-Driven.

Three principles guide every AXD engagement. They are how the firm thinks before the work begins, and how the work is held accountable when it is delivered.

Adaptive
Every business creates value differently. AXD designs each engagement around the client's specific business model: its revenue logic, its customer dynamics, its competitive position, its regulatory environment. The AXD ATOM methodology stays consistent across engagements. What it produces is purpose-built for the organization in front of it.
Business-First
IT strategy is downstream of business strategy. Every recommendation traces to a business capability the organization actually cares about. The CIO defends the work to the CFO and the board in language the business speaks. Operating-model design that begins anywhere else is design that loses credibility under pressure.
Outcome-Driven
Engagements are scoped, sequenced, and measured against business outcomes the CIO can defend. Quick wins are identified at the front of the roadmap. Every engagement closes with a phased execution plan and a value-realization spine that keeps results visible to the business across budget cycles.
